Before Your Laser Session: Do's & Don'ts

Do

• Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment
• Come with clean skin — no lotions, deodorant, or makeup on the area
• Tell us about medications and any recent sun exposure

Don't

• Don't wax, pluck, thread, or use depilatory creams for at least 4 weeks before — the follicle must be intact
• Don't tan or use self-tanner on the area for 2 weeks before
• Don't come sunburned — we'll reschedule

After Your Laser Session: Do's & Don'ts

Do

• Use gentle skincare and keep the area moisturized
• Apply SPF 50 to treated areas that see the sun
• Let treated hairs shed naturally over 1 to 3 weeks — it looks like the hair is still growing, then it falls out
• Keep your series on schedule — timing is what makes the results last

Don't

• Don't wax or pluck between sessions — shaving is fine
• Don't take very hot showers, saunas, or do intense workouts for 24–48 hours
• Don't tan the treated area between sessions
